Tuberculosis Training

On February 19th, 2024, the Boundless Health Club went to the Midwest Asian Health Association to learn about the TB Elimination Program through the Provider Training. We met the head of the program Ms. Mei Kan, and her presentation about Tuberculosis (TB) helped inform us that TB is very prevalent in the Asian and African populations. This conference with the TB Elimination program helped us at the Boundless Health Club to help inform the Asian community better about Tuberculosis since this disease isn’t known well in the USA. It also well equipped us to prepare the next event for Tuberculosis Prevention Seminar at Chinese Community Center on March 26th, 2024. We would like to thanks Ms.Mei Kan for her insight and for spending her time to inform us about this disease and how we can help the community to prevent the spread of this disease in the Asian population.
